Rice Community Healthcare Announces Rebrand to Reflect Focus on Family Medicine and Unified System
September 2024—Rice Community Healthcare is excited to unveil a new branding initiative designed to align its services more closely with its focus on family medicine and community-centered care. As part of this rebrand, the healthcare system has adopted the name Rice Community Health, representing all its entities under one cohesive system brand.
Key changes include renaming Hospital District No. 1 of Rice County to Rice Community Hospital, Sterling Medical Center to Sterling Family Care, and Lyons Medical Center to Lyons Family Care. These new names reflect Rice Community Health’s dedication to providing comprehensive family care, ensuring that individuals of all ages receive personalized healthcare services.
In addition to these facility name changes, the Community Health Workers Program has also been rebranded as Rural Health Connections, reflecting a renewed focus on addressing the unique healthcare needs of Rice County.
