Our Emergency Department holds certification from the American Academy of Surgeons as a Level IV Trauma Center. Expect minimal wait times, comprehensive diagnostics including X-ray and ultrasound, and a compassionate team of board-certified doctors and emergency-trained advanced practice nurses.

When it comes to critical emergencies, time is of the essence. Our Emergency Room services prioritize the rapid transfer of critical patients to larger hospitals for specialized care. Teaming up closely with Rice County EMS, we ensure patients receive fast and effective care from the moment they dial 911.

What makes us unique? The majority of our patients are seen within 30 minutes in our Emergency Room. Our on-site helipad streamlines transfers, enabling us to swiftly connect patients with larger hospitals when specialized care is necessary.

Our Emergency Room entrance is located on Noble Street, near the back side of the Rice Community Hospital. Our doors are always open.
